Opinion Release: The Clerk's Office releases opinions at 11 a.m. each Thursday, unless no opinions are ready for release at that time. Court staff posts them to this website as soon as possible. Some opinions may be released outside of this schedule, called "out-of-calendar" releases, such as in emergencies. Scheduled and unscheduled opinion releases are announced via Twitter @flcourts.

Summer & Winter Release Schedule. The Court suspends its regular Thursday release of opinions starting in July and extending into August each year. It also typically suspends releases over the Christmas and New Years' holidays. Notices will be posted here each year when regular opinion releases will stop and start again during these periods. As always, out-of-calendar opinion releases are possible at any time for time-sensitive cases.

Other Cessations of Thursday Releases. It also is common for regular opinion releases to be suspended at times when the membership of the Court is changing due to the departure and appointment of new Justices.
