Chrome Browser Live Captioning
Google recently updated the Chrome browser to provide real-time captioning of any video played within Chrome.
Steps to updating Chrome Browser Settings:
Step 1: Open Chrome (download Chrome browser if not installed)
Step 2: Open settings by clicking on the three vertical dots in the upper right-hand corner of the browser window (see Image 1 below)
Step 3: Click on "Settings" the drop-down menu
Step 4: Click on Advanced if the menu is not open (see Image 2 below)
Step 5: Click on the Accessibility menu in the menu (see Image 2 below)
Step 6: Toggle ON the Live Caption option. This automatically creates captions for English audio and video. Audio and captions never leave your device. (see Image 3 below)
NOTE: You may need to reload/refresh your browser after adding the feature.
