About the Program
The Supreme Court Docent Program was established May 23, 1994, by the Board of Trustees of the Florida Supreme Court Historical Society as a committee of the Historical Society. The purpose of the Docent Program was to provide scheduled educational tours and programs at the Florida Supreme Court for students and visitors.
Today, the Docent Program has been combined with the Supreme Court Law-Related Education Program to expand its scope and depth of educational tours and programs offered by the Court. Currently, the Court is recruiting volunteers to be a part of our tours program.
